This page explains, in plain language, how F.O.M.O. Shield Premium works: what it includes, how billing and renewal work, and how to cancel. It supplements — and doesn't replace — Section 8 of our Terms of Service.
All figures above are simulated ("paper") amounts used inside the App's educational features — see our Terms of Service for what the App is and isn't.
Currently, Premium is offered as a monthly auto-renewing subscription. The exact price depends on your country/region and is always shown by Google Play before you confirm — we don't set or display a fixed price ourselves.
Premium renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly) unless you cancel before the renewal date. Google Play charges your payment method on file and notifies us automatically so your Premium access continues without interruption.
We never see or store your payment card details — Google handles billing entirely.
Cancellation happens through Google Play, not inside the App — this is how all Google Play subscriptions work, for every app, not just ours.
You can also manage it from a browser at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
You keep full Premium access until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling only turns off auto-renewal — it does not revoke access early. Once that period ends, your account automatically reverts to the Free tier; nothing is deleted, your portfolios and history stay exactly as they are.
Refunds are handled entirely by Google, under Google Play's own refund policies — we don't process payments or refunds ourselves and can't issue one directly. Request a refund from the same Payments & subscriptions screen in the Play Store, or see Google's refund help page.
Your Premium status is tied to your F.O.M.O. Shield account, not to a device — so if you reinstall the App or sign in on a new device, Premium comes back automatically as soon as you sign in, with nothing extra to do.
If Premium doesn't appear after signing in (rare — usually a temporary sync hiccup), tap Restore Purchases on the Premium screen to force a fresh check against your Google Play purchase and re-sync it with your account.
If we ever change Premium's price, Google Play will notify existing subscribers in advance and won't charge the new price without your consent, per Google's own subscription policies.
